A modern, independent client for Ancient Anguish — the text-based multiplayer fantasy world that has been running continuously since 1991.
Available for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Windows, Linux, and Android. Full ANSI truecolor, telnet negotiation (NAWS, TTYPE, MCCP, GMCP), a configurable game-state HUD, Quick Commands, area-based ambient music, floating Chat and Tells windows, and four themes including a high-contrast palette built for low-vision players.
No analytics. No tracking. No ads. The only network traffic is the single connection to the MUD server — and you control the host.

About this app
This is an independent third-party client for the Ancient Anguish MUD, developed in coordination with the AA team and promoted on the game's official Connect page at anguish.org/connect.php. The game itself is a separate service, operated by its own team since 1991 — this app is a comfortable doorway into it.
